Shipping and Returns


Timeline – We typically finish processing and ship within 3-5 days unless it’s during holidays or weekends when there will be delays due to high volume of orders and the fact that companies do not accept shipments during this time. Express orders received before 12:00pm EDT are processed and shipped within 24hrs.  All express or expedited delivery via FedEx and DHL options are offered at an extra charge. Contact us directly for such requests. As previously stated, no processing and delivery during Saturdays, Sundays or holidays.

Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification with tracking information when/if shipment tracking is included.

International Shipping – While we have items that are only available to be shipped within the United States, we also offer worldwide shipping for most of our products. Please note that increased shipping rates apply and the shipping price will automatically adjust to your location. Pricing will vary from country to country. Some of our products are sourced from international suppliers and use the best and most reliable courier service options to get your items to your doorstep affordably (most of the time even for free!), safely and timely.

Loss and Custom Duties – Shipping products internationally has certain inherent risks. The risk of loss and title for merchandise shipped internationally will pass to the customer upon our delivery of the goods to the shipping carrier. Your order subject to duties/taxes/brokerage fees/customs/VAT/importation fees which are levied once a shipment reaches your country and or charged at time of delivery. You will be responsible for paying additional charges for customs clearance; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be and are not responsible for their payment. These charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. The customer is responsible for those charges at delivery. These should not be confused with additional shipping amounts. The receiving customer is the importer. Usually the carrier will not release a package until those are paid or they (the shipping carrier) may send you a bill at a later date for those fees. Fees vary by each country. Please review and check those before you purchase so you are not surprised later at delivery.

Additionally, when ordering from Mom in Focus, you are the importer and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country. You authorize us to designate a carrier to act as your agent with the relevant customs and tax authorities in the destination country, to clear your merchandise and advance on your behalf any duties and taxes owed by you. It is outside our control, but as always, cross-border shipments are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities.

International Shipping Times – Please understand that international packages will take longer to arrive than domestic orders. Once the package arrives into your country, it will also pass through your customs office which can add time to the delivery. Customs can hold a parcel for several weeks and open up packages for inspections. Usually international packages arrive within 4-6 weeks, yet it can take longer depending on transit times and customs clearance. Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do internally to speed up the process. Lost packages are extremely rare, so please allow sufficient time for your package to arrive. If it doesn’t arrive in 60 days, contact us immediately.

Foreign Currency Order Costs – All prices on our site are listed in U.S. Dollars. The exact exchange rate that you will pay is determined by the bank that has issued your credit card.

Refused Shipments – If you decide to refuse any shipments from you are responsible for the original shipping charges to you, any duties/taxes/brokerage fees/customs/VAT/importation fees that are incurred on the package (on both the original and return shipments), and the cost of returning the package to us. This amount will be subtracted from your merchandise credit and if the associated costs exceed the merchandise total, your credit card will be billed for the difference. Moreover, Mom in Focus is NOT responsible for expenses associated with packages that are undeliverable due to incomplete address information, no signature on file, or no recipient at the shipping location provided.

Shipping Cost – Shipping costs are calculated at time of checkout based on order size, weight, shipping time and location.

Delivery Times for Different Product Categories

*Note for custom orders – This may take some time to create and prepare so please take note of the shipping times. As usual, we’ll send tracking information once it has been shipped.

Personalised Gift Baskets/Care Packages – Ready to ship in 1-2 business days once order is confirmed. Your order arrives in 2-8 business days via USPS Retail Ground Shipping. Only available for orders within the US.

Custom (Monogram) Leather/Nappy Bags – Ready to ship in 2 weeks. Your order arrives in 8-10 days. Only available for orders within the US.

Custom Jewellery and Journals – Ready to ship in 1-2 weeks. Orders within the US arrives in 7-15 days. Available worldwide, but shipping times will vary. Generally, for orders outside the US, our international customers would receive it within 25-35 days including creation/preparation time.

All other items displayed on Mom in Focus are processed and shipped within 3-7 business days. Kindly consider this when calculating the estimated arrival of your package/s. Once shipped, please refer to the estimated delivery times below. Certainly, you can always request for expedited shipping at an extra cost.

US: 7-14 business days

Canada: 10 – 18 business days

Europe & Middle East: 12 – 25 business days

Asia, Australia & New Zealand: 15 – 30 business days

Other regions: At least 30 business days


  • At this time we do not offer faster shipping times for orders outside of the US, but that option will be available in the very near future. We are currently in the process of partnering with new fulfillment centers which will speed up our shipping times significantly. Thank you so much for your understanding.
  • For international orders (and in rare occasions, US orders), delays can occur in transit or hold at the local customs office so it’s possible to take up to 6-7 weeks for an order to be delivered. 
  • Tracking information isn’t available for every country and can delay in updates. Please refer to the estimated timetable above from your order date to find out when you can expect your order.
  • Additional fees, such as customs fees, may apply for international orders and we are not responsible for such fees.


Mom in Focus always put your satisfaction above all that’s why we are transparent with everything and give you all the details that you need to help you decide before you purchase from us. We only want you to be absolutely happy with your purchase and we hope to meet every expectation, but we know that in rare cases you receive a damaged item or a product that simply falls short of your expectations, thus needing to file or make a return when it’s not as described or if you receive a different item from what you have ordered. We will accept unused and unwashed items with original packaging for returns and exchanges within fourteen (14) days of upon receiving your item. Please also include a photo of the damage/defect.

Please take note that the following items can’t be returned or exchanged unless they arrive damaged or defective.

  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)

Important Return Notes and Exceptions:

  • All returned merchandise must be unused and unwashed with original packaging
  • Any item that has been used or washed is NOT eligible for return
  • All returns have a $5.95 re-stocking fee and shipping charges are NOT refundable
  • This includes the original shipping charge and the return shipping charge
  • Returns will receive a refund issued in the original form of payment
  • All sale items are final sale and are not returnable

Then send the link to and you will receive further instructions on how to complete your return and information on necessary fees the come with it that needs to be paid for before we can process it.


We don’t offer warranties/refunds on the following:

  • Products without the original receipt or proof of purchase – no exceptions
  • Final sale or clearance sale items
  • Damages caused by normal wear and tear (i.e., zipper wear, Velcro wear, the appearance of lining, stains, tears in the material due to improper washing or use, child outgrowing product, etc.)
  • Defects resulting from repair or alteration of the product
  • Defects resulting from improper use, including any use or are not in accordance with the product instructions
  • Defects resulting from improper storage, such as outdoors, in damp environments, or molding food
  • Scratches on items such as bags, trays, etc that occur from normal everyday use
  • Dirty spots or splotches
  • Natural breakdown of materials
  • Accidents
  • Products that are re-sold, given away, or in any other case where you are not the first and original owner
